50mm Hooded Twin Wheel Castor with Brake - Screw-In Thread & Nut

Our 50mm Hooded Screw-In Twin Wheel Castor with brake is a durable and adaptable solution for furniture and equipment and secures them in place with its brakes. The screw-in thread fitting is suitable for attaching to furniture with a thick timber frame and can be easily removed to replace or repair it as needed. We offer four thread sizes with matching inserts and tee nuts for your convenience.

  • The 50mm nylon swivel castor has twin wheels that work independently, allowing for precise manoeuvrability and preventing wear and tear on surfaces such as carpet pilling. 
  • Thread fittings are a reliable and flexible way to attach castors to furniture or equipment with a thick timber base. Additionally, the castors are easy to remove, making it simple to replace or repair them when needed.

  • Load capacity: 30kg per castor 
    • Calculate the weight of your furniture and contents, and divide it by the load capacity of the castor to determine how many castors you will require. A 150kg cabinet requires at least five 30kg castor wheels.
